How often do l sit awhile, drown in your eyes,
infectious smile
How often lay, on stormy night, and stroke your
face, say 'It's alright',
How often recall long years when, l was just
twelve, and you were ten.
Those early years, bless every hour, you wore
loves beauty, like a flower
For when l saw you that first time, your eyes
held look, as old as time,
A look that questions, delves, unsung, can such
love dwell, in one so young.
Recall then too, those distant hours, we skipped
in meadows, filled with flowers
We gambolled, swished our hands through weeds,
Released a million gossamer seeds,
Picked cowslips, and in move so bold, bestowed on
you, a crown of gold.
Then later yet, but still in teens, when hot blood
storms through bodies genes
We'd reach to slake full, natures needs, among that
million gossamer seeds,
Then lay awhile, on clouds that drift, then yet again,
indulge in bliss.
There's been much laughter, through the years, tho'
too, the moments, brief in tears
Life's hurdles still, can cause us pain, but love will
triumph, yet again,
For life's highway, still beckons strong, we still hold
hands, and travel on.
Yet still again, l sit awhile, beguiled by love, and your
sweet smile
We still reach out, to natures cry's, of soft warm lips
and welcome thighs,
Use no excuse, to reach, caress, engulfed in your sweet
tenderness
And still my thoughts, will turn back when, l was just
twelve, and you were ten.
